Carolina Forest
A large inland area west of the Intracoastal Waterway made up of many separate planned communities, with newer construction and more house per dollar.

What Carolina Forest is like.
Carolina Forest is not one neighborhood, it is a corridor of them. Dozens of planned communities sit along and off Carolina Forest Boulevard, ranging from modest townhome developments to gated custom-home enclaves. What they share is newer construction, established amenities, and a location that is inland by design.
Living here
Everyday convenience: grocery stores, medical offices, and the Highway 31 on-ramps are close. The beach is a planned trip rather than a walk.
- A wide range of communities: townhomes, patio homes, single-family, and custom builds
- Predominantly newer construction compared with the oceanfront corridor
- Community pools, clubhouses, and trail systems throughout
- Direct access to Highway 31 for travel north and south along the Strand
- Each community here has its own HOA, amenities, and rules. They are not interchangeable.
- You are roughly fifteen to twenty-five minutes from the ocean depending on which community and which beach.
- Newer inventory means lower near-term maintenance, but confirm builder warranty status on resales.
